Lunar Occultation of Jupiter in Brasilian Skies

On this day 25/12 the Moon occulted the planet Jupiter in the brasilian skies. The phenomenon could be observed in almost all of brazilian territory.

Below my video of emersion Jupiter (time in which it comes out of occultation). Unfortunately my telescope
was misaligned and could not rely on the tracking motor, so the Moon "runs" across the screen. But I thought the result was pretty good.

In some moments bright spots can be seen near Jupiter, are actually two of its moons. The closest is the volcanic Io and Europa is the farthest.

For those that don't know, occulation is when an object passes between us and another object. In this case, the moon is passing between us and Jupiter, covering Jupiter completely.
