Random color flickering / flashing during tutorial saturn + neptune bit.

Anyone else experience this or know of a fix? I've read a thread about "flickering" but it doesn't mention anything that sounds similar to my issue (other than that its caused by collisions).

Running latest video drivers (catalyst 10.5)

AMD Phenom 2 x6 1055T
HD 5770 (stock clocks etc)
Windows 7
