help i cant find the media folder inside the main universe sandbox folder

Go to your Documents folder on your computer. You will see a folder named "Universe Sandbox 2".

i brought the steam version but the media folder is still not there

If you are on Windows look at this folder

%UserProfile%\Documents\Universe Sandbox ²

Browse and take a good look for all the sub folders.

What folder are you looking for? In the Universe Sandbox ² folders mentioned above, you should find two separate folders for media, Images and Video. You should be able to open these from in-game. On the bottom bar, click Video > Open Video Folder or Photo > Open Screenshots Folder.
