Kepler 90 system
« on: December 31, 2017, 03:31:47 AM »
Hi everyone! i might seem new, but i'm not i just forgot how my old account was named  ;D
I made this simulation, where i recreated the Kepler 90 system as good as i can, i hope you like it, some things might be a bit off and i also was a bit creative with rings, because it's unknown if the star has an asteroid belt, or one of the planets has rings/a moon.
Anyways, i hope you enjoy!

For your info: the Kepler 90 system was discovered in 2013 with 7 planets orbiting the star, that's an impressive number, but not unique in the history of exoplanets. in 2017, an AI program named Deep Learning evaluated the data provided by the kepler telescope and came to the conclusion, that there must be an 8th planet, Kepler 90-i, orbiting the star, making the system a one of a kind 8 exoplanet system.
the only other star system, that we know to have 8 planets is our own one.

this event has been in the news recently and i am surprised, that this wasn't added into the game yet.

This is good! However, I think it would be better if you shared your creations in Share Your Creations! Thanks. :)
