How to terraform planets?
« on: April 29, 2016, 02:57:02 PM »
I heard a lot about terraforming, but could not figure out how to do it. First I tried to launch some carbon dioxide at Mars, but anywhere I aimed, even zoomed in, it missed. What am I doing wrong?

(FYI Terraforming requires more than just carbon dioxide).

There is a bug in the program, where if you have a too high time ratio, projectiles (including material) travelling above a certain velocity will pass through target body instead of colliding with it. So either decrease the launch velocity, or decrease the time ratio.

If you want to increase the heat and add water, follow the advice of the comment above. If you want a different texture, increase and decrease hydrogen in the materials bar. That's my advice.  :-X
