Question: Does laser affected by gravity?

There was a hot topic on YouTube talking about the 4 Mile laser test to proofs is the earth flat or not by jeranism. the report said that the laser stays level with the ground instead of bends up. So here's my question:

Does laser affected by Gravity?

because if it so. The Earth must be Round

Yes, lasers (light) are affected by gravity. One example of this is also galaxies acting as lenses, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_lens

But even if that weren't true, we'd still know the Earth was round. :P

Technically, yes, but normal lasers aren't affected much, seeing as it takes a ton of mass to noticeably bend light. Sol has been shown to bend light noticeably,  but something Jupiter-sized wouldn't affect light much, but it would. Even the tiniest amount of mass, even that of a human, bends light, just not very much.

Also, buildings are usually constructed on a flat plane rather than with the curvature of the Earth due to their minuscule size compared to the planet, which is also a probable reason for the laser staying level.

but the laser is still going to be pulled down at a 90 degree angle to it if it's level

well, this one is a composite from a polar orbiting satellite

but anyway himawari-8 has a live loop showing the Earth (it is round) as well as a variety of other geostationary satellites which are focused on the Earth have full disc images which show, again, a round planet.

if you want you can put a camera and a gps (using round-earth and special relativity spooky sciences) on a weather balloon and launch it and see the curvature of the earth yourself for relatively cheap
