I've been working on this one here, and so far, I've been unable to reproduce it.
One thing I noticed though in the dump logs, is that your graphics drivers are very out of date.
NVIDIA WDDM D3D Driver, Version 335.23. It appears the crash is actually triggered by Steam's underlying API.
The current version is 353.30, and the card you're running is a Geforce 500 series.
You can download updated drivers here.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-usIf you don't mind, please upgrade the graphics drivers, and let me know if you're able to reproduce the issue, and if so, what are the exact steps and settings you used. (Fullscreen or not, resolution, and screenshot settings, ie UI on or off)
