He has to make money! Everybody would just download it and never donate. That would destroy the company. US1 is far insuperior to US2 by now. So yeah, keep both of them paid. Why have the better one free? If no one donates development would stop and I see almost no one who would. Sorry, but that's just not possible.

He needs to pay all of his employees though... It is better if it stays paid for.
