Will Universe Sandbox ever come to Mac on Steam?

I would like to purchase the game but I only have a Mac. Are there any plans for a Mac release of Universe Sandbox, and will it be available on Steam as well?

Awesome! Will owners of the current Universe Sandbox automatically get upgraded to US3 or will it be a separate purchase?
