Idea - Climate Sandbox

Dan should make a Climate sandbox where you can play with volcanoes weather ocean currents and all these factors affect the climate

It'd have to be a future project entirely because this is Universe Sandbox, not climate sandbox.

Sounds like a 2+ year project (and really complex)... it would be awesome though.

There was a game out a looooooong time ago that was almost exactly as you are asking, its called Sim Earth, my parents bought it for me long long ago when I was a kid for the SNES, still have it and in fact I played it 2 days ago.  Always wish they would make a modern one............Dan?????  Please??? LOL

They're too caught up with the new update. If Dan decided to make a Climate Sandbox, that would be awesome! But I doubt he's thinking about it.

Yeah I know but it would be VERY cool if it was possible even if I have to wait 2-3 years ;)  But even then it would be a whole different breed of program and would be MUCH greater in scope for designing and creating than US is.  So Dan if you ever have the itch to create a game similar to Sim Earth let me know, you have at least one supporter here, probably more though ;)
