[Steam-Client] Start-Up MSCORWKS.DLL Error

Hey Guys,

Good to see you all have an active community. So I logged into Universe Sandbox for the first time in probably a few months to try to build a few systems and check orbital calculations from my mechanics class. So Steam goes through its normal thing of updating and making the game file easier to use. When I go to start the program up, I get the following error instantly.

Now I've run through the basic diagnostics and reinstalled .Net Framework 4 Full with the suggested programs, updated steam, reinstalled the game, verified all programs are working correctly, and restarted with this error still remaining present.

So I come to you all. Has anyone found a fix for the "Access Violation Exception" error?

Sorry it's not working.

Are you still having this problem?

And the latest version on Steam no longer requires .NET 4, only .NET 2.

What version of Windows are you using?

Hey Dan,

Yeah I'm still getting the error, which is odd since it use to run perfectly fine on old ATLAS here before I had to do an update. I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate  (32 bit) with 3 GB of RAM and an Intel duel core 1.6 GHz processor. The game use to run like a dream on here, which is one of the few programs I can still say that about. XD
