Second is awesome and yeah, looks like a flag.
I like the abstractness of the fist though, make it a seal or something?

I prefer the first one, the second one looks too... Crossy... But besides from that fact the second one looks better, I guess.

Looks like a flag, depends on how flags are made. If people begin to make flags differently, what "looks like a flag" changes. It's this little silly thing called tradition. :P
With that said I usually do value some sort of symmetry or some geometric/mathemagical "references" in flags.

Ok, Stars, stay, go, change color or shape? I'm not liking the black too much, but its 'ok'. So if anyone has any suggestions >.>

also what do people think about the dark and light shade of blue. make same, or switch sides with darkness?
