I don't really see what's 'kil' here, but anyways, the Americas were briefly connected to Euroafraisa during the ice age with the Bering strait land bridge, but they'll become permanently connected in a number of millions of years when Alaska and the easternmost part of Russia merge.

The Americas being one continent is actually a (geologically) recent thing, they were separate continents for many millions of years.

Only to smash into Africa and create a new supercontinent some 200+ million years in the future.

The Paleomap Project has nice images, although the site doesn't seem to have been updated for years.

I know the connection wouldn't neccesarily be 'permanent' in the absolute sense, I meant permanent as in not temporary with changes in sea level, maybe.
