How do I make a planet tilt?
« on: August 16, 2018, 06:23:20 PM »
I just got the game, so I'm still in the "baby steps" stage.  I've got the beginnings of a solar system, star and a few planets.  I used aliens worlds, nothing from our solar system.  Now I want to give them seasons, but whenever I try to alter the obliquity it goes right back to zero.  I've tried typing in a number and sliding the slider, neither works.  I'm assuming there's another setting I have to alter first, but I don't know what that setting would be.

Sorry for the issue, you *should* be able to change the obliquity. I'm not aware of any bugs related to this, and I haven't seen any other reports. Does this happen with every one of your planets? How about if you select Edit in the bottom bar, then use the Rotate widget to change these properties? Does that work?

Thank you.   :)  It seems that if I use Edit to drag the pole off center I can then type in the numbers directly and it won't go back to zero.
