Impossible. It would be our chance to expand across the universe. As the galaxies separate we can gradually put communication devices in orbit to keep our galaxies connected and make pit stops(stars will be scattered everywhere in most likely an elliptical galaxy if dark matter holds us together).

But Earth will be destroyed by the red giant sun some objects may transport to Earth-like planets.

And some Earth-like planets would be destroyed. But as Naru523's post see at http://universesandbox.com/forum/index.php/topic,498.0.html. in Reply 2. Before the planet terraforms. the star is at main sequence. but when it is a giant star. the planet on the bottom terraforms.

Not really, there has to be the right elements. If there is too much carbon it will turn just like Venus.
