How To Open Ubox Files On Mac

I saved a ubox file in my simulations folder, but when I open Universe Sandbox 2 it doesn't show in my saved simulations. When I open the simulations folder within Universe Sandbox 2 the file shows and when I try to open it says Steam can't open it. It's trying to open it with Steam instead of Universe Sandbox 2. How do I get it to open with Universe Sandbox 2 instead of Steam?

Figured out how to have Universe Sandbox 2 be the default program, but when I tried to open it said Universe Sandbox 2 can not open these type of files? Strange.

The sim files are designed to only be opened from within Universe Sandbox ².

If you're not seeing it within Home > Open > My Sims, then something is wrong. Do you have any sim files in there which were saved on a Windows machine? There's a known issue that makes sims disappear when Windows sims are put into the Mac folder. To test this you could temporarily move all of the files out of the folder and try saving a new one, then seeing if it shows up in Universe Sandbox ².

We have a fix for this coming in our next update, sorry for the issue.
