Scale Model Saturnian System
« on: May 15, 2010, 08:02:08 PM »
I made one when I was waiting for US2.  :P  Didn't post till now.

http://www.mediafire.com/?tm2xwzj4mwm

It's a rar, so you might need to get WinRar, or 7-zip.

The moons from in to out: Mimas, Enceladus, Dione, Rhea, Titan, Iapetus. I had moved the model so that I could fit Iapetus (12 feet (i think) away!). Iapetus was right about in the bathroom. I probably should have done it in the hall... But, for some reason I chose not to. I remembered there was a reason.

Moon sizes scaled up (except for Titan)

One of the images shown here, just has the 5 moons out to Titan, Iapetus too far in the picture.

You don't need to get WinRar or 7-zip.

You can just use the feature on every Windows computer.

It is a built-in Windows-Built Unzipping thing.

That's really cool NeutronStar, totally something I would have done when I was a kid. :)

You should post the individual images here so that people don't have to download and extract the files to see them.

I can't. They are too big. I think.

3.1 MB? Hmmm...

Edit: There. I added one. It doesn't have Iapetus.

That's white paper. For it to be clay is impossible, it's impossible to be flat as paper.

I just made a Jovian system, it'll be up in about 3 moments (one moment is 1.5 minutes)

Actually your wrong deoxy.
A moment is a medieval unit of time equal to 1.5 minutes or 1/40 of an hour.

That's medieval. I use miles, pounds, seconds, meters, minutes, hours, and many others.
Just one moment means a short interval of time, usually a second.
