So... (makes popping sound with mouth) what version are you planning to add the feature of the centers of galaxies collideing and combining?

This requires simulating galaxies with distributed mass, and not a single mass at their center (as they are currently modeled). This can be done now by using a whole bunch of stars, but the simulation runs very slowly and tools to create such a simulation are lacking.

Not sure what the time table is for this feature, but it is on the list.

.... i mean like this, you know how 2 planets with rings will combine and have 1 large ring? well i mean just the 2 centers of the galaxies colliding, forming something 2 times as heavy, and random wisks of dust going around.
