GPU (Graphics card) Question.
« on: December 27, 2014, 07:53:37 AM »
Hi, I had recently acquired an MSI GTX970 GAMING 4G graphics card.

And I have a SABERTOOTH 990FX Motherboard.

The GPU says that it is PCIE 3.0 (PCI Express 3.0) compatible.
So, is my GPU compatible with my motherboard?

A PCIE 3 gpu will work in a PCIE 2 slot since they are backwards compatible.
