Alpha 9 Collision bug making interesting stuff + crash
« on: August 23, 2014, 09:17:52 AM »
So i placed a bunch of exoplanets, and 1 started from a few jupiter masses (less than 10 jupiter masses) and it somehow ended up 20+ jupiter massss but it still had a diameter close to it's original one, so it was able to eat 20 jupiter masses exoplanets without losing mass, and ended up 66 jupiter masses.

But then, it collided with a planet that was already colliding with another one(the same that made it go to 66 jupiter masses) and then it's distance and density turned into "Not a Number". and then i crashed.

That it absorbed it without any fragments showing up.
Like this, but the 1 smaller planet ending up absorbing it

On one of those "moments" a planet just went halfway-through another one without anything happening and it disappeared.
EDIT: happened again with a "GQ Lup b"(exoplanet) i had saved, i made it crash into a jupiter, normal collision stuff happened but the one that got swallowed was the much larger and 20 jupiter masses "GQ Lup b" and the jupiter now has 19.5x more mass
