Tidal heating

Would it be right to assume that US2 does not account for tidal heating between orbiting bodies? would be awesome if it did, its a real important phenomenon.

Well one of the devs is developing SPH so you can tear planets apart with gravity etc. so that will be simulated eventually

That would be interesting, I think it would be more of an End Game feature.  Mainly because it is barely noticeable unless you looks for it.

I want them to make the most obvious things first then get on and polish the game with features like this.
