Sp§re interstellar/interplanetary travel

I wonder whether it will be possible to make these interstellar/interplanetary drives...

These drives are just "things" in spore that are not described at all throughout the game. There is no description about how these drives work and what they run on.

A real way to travel long distances in space is a drive I made up that's kinda like a jet engine, except backwards.
See, there's a long hollow tube. At one end there is a high energy laser pointer inside. the other side is a solar sail like coverage that is pushed by the laser, ultimately tugging the vessel around.

The drives probably run on hypermatter, like star wars :)

I know this isn't realistic but still

Yes but how fast will it run(for e.g 20% of light?)

It depends on the size and the laser energy, but solar sails are a very efficient but slowish way of traveling near the speed of light

I went into the galactic center after destroying the Grox and I must say that they have entered into another dimension ... but spore is a game not astronomical: P on planet earth Italy is as large as half of me spaceship :P
