Hurricane Simulator!

This is my simultor, some of the storms are randomized.

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/atomic7732/665590

I periodically update it, so check the version number every once in a while.

1/28/10 - v2.6

There is no reason I should answer my question if you don't answer yours. The questions are of the same "Why do you like" type.

What type of question is "Why do you like hurricanes?"

Edit: 2.7 is up!

Exciting. I see there is a download link to get the project in the upper right zone, and that it requires Scratch to be opened. The fact that it called it 'project' makes me think more of something I'm going to edit, but if there is a link to a final download where I can just start the program, I would ask where, otherwise, I can try to find some information about Scratch so it won't scratch the security on my new com, if the project download area is the place people are meant to download from. :)

That's the point, so you can edit it, you can mess with it on the page I liked to, but not edit it.

Bla, if you look at the link... "mit.edu" do you think you are gonna need to search that up if it has viruses?

Here, you can play it on the link I have. If you wanted to change it or make your own projects, you download Scratch. You don't need to download it to play/use it.

Aha, I tried it. I forgot to download Java.
Well made with the hurricanes etc. changing shape and with different colored trails. :)

That's really cool. Well done.

I like how the trails are colored based on the intensity of the storm.

Awesome job.

Tropical depression
Tropical storm
Hurricane

I may add an update soon with pink for major hurricane.

I will take requests for where the hurricanes/TS/TD's will go. It would help me get ideas. Thanks! Please request!

NEW IDEA: I will make hurricanes that were real! In a small menu.
List...
1. 2005 -majors
2. 2005 -greeks
3. 2009 -all
4. 2005 -rest

All season button for above. It will play them in order. Almost realistic timing.
