Title: I need something to do.
Post by: infringement153 on June 12, 2010, 08:22:34 PM
Somebody give me a big challenge.  I'll make a video of it when I'm through, or at least a picture if a video won't work.

So much for short temper.

Back to topic: You can do some challenges to here. (http://universesandbox.com/forum/index.php/topic,1697.0.html)

Challenge:
Visitor: Orbit the Moon and then go back to Earth, and then orbit the moon again.

I can't understand what you're saying.

That must mean you're trying to trick me!

(way off-topic now)

Please clarify your challenge.

Make an object orbit the moon, then Earth, then back to the moon...

Yes, and that should have been the OBVIOUS meaning.

Yes, and that should have been the OBVIOUS meaning.

Just because it's clear to you doesn't mean it's clear to everyone. Don't criticize someone for asking for clarification (especially when your comment was somewhat vague).

Somebody give me a big challenge.  I'll make a video of it when I'm through, or at least a picture if a video won't work.

Find two stable orbits for planets in a close binary star:
1) first planet orbits the system barycenter (easy)
2) second planet orbits the secondary star (not so easy)

Huh? You make no sense.

It's impossible for something to switch between orbiting certain bodies without outside force, otherwise it would not be an orbit.

I take up sanduleak's challenge.

Alright, the "Center of Universe" box is acting up again.  I'll put off completing anything until US2 is upgraded to SQUID.

"Shoot" a small body out from Earth which will sling shot to the outer planets using the inner planets.

I been trying to do this for awhile without the use of XML.

Quite hard. D:

Why not just shoot it directly at the outer planets?  I was hoping for actual things to accomplish, not contrived ways to make easy tasks hard (no offense intended, of course).

What do you mean by this? How is it acting up?

I'm uploading a video showing it.  I'll post the link in 20 minutes when it's uploaded.

Hey I have more icons than you. I have icons that fill my screen, and fill another screen that I don't have.

No...don't use WMM. It's cheap.

What do you suggest as an alternative?

Communication through text is just much more convenient than synchronizing everything with WMM.

Cheap means cheap and bad.

I can think of many things that are both cheap and awesome.

Running through the forest.
Google.
Bananas.

... all come to mind. Others?

Wikipedia.
Hurricanes. Litterally in the sense of awesome. As in... very very powerful.

WMM is fine.

I found a little thing online where I can turn my videos into HD videos for the XP version.

(XP WMM doesn't support this)

Now I can upload in 720p
