I'm currently working on a massive star system, which will consist of 7 stars, and maybe even 8 if I could get the orbit to be stable enough. I got this idea after reading about AR Cassiopeiae, a seven star system.

Try to make a solar system with 10 stars.

My Firefly system has 14 suns in one system. Feel free to check it out if you want some ideas.

It looks like what happens when a fragment gets superheated. It turns into that weird ball of gas.

As for the size and the way it behaves with objects... wut?

Does anyone know how to add barycenter to binary stars?

Burning a planet to a crisp can cause this strange planetary object to glow like this. I managed to create something like this in Alpha 16 when colliding objects.

I know that pressing ctrl and dragging will work, not sure about ctrl + left click though, it might work too, then click one of the properties windows that come up on the side, and a bar should come up that will allow you to give those objects a barycenter.

Thanks for all your comments .
I have added a new video in response to JMBuilder question.

I think what i will try to do is make a bubble  massive in size. then build a solar system inside. Then make it into a solid. then make a solar system on the out side also.
Thanks again all.
Great community.

At the moment, there is no possible way to add city lights to custom made planets or randomly generated planets. In the future, possibly Update 21, there might be a possible way to add city lights to custom made terrestrial planets.

One of my highest priorities for me is that I hope Update 21 will make it possible to customize the colors of gas giants and stars, as well as being able to save crater impact marks and create your own custom textures for terrestrial planets and gas giants.

If you folks find bugs and glitches when testing Universe Sandbox 2, please report them in the feedback section of Universe Sandbox 2 interface. Select the bug button, select take screenshot and write a bug description in the box and then send it to the developers for analysis. Then they will fix your reported bugs and glitches in future updates.

The warping is a normal effect for black holes, due to them bending light rays that pass them in a lensing kind of way (you'll also see it in non-game-breaking black holes). However, the rest ... is not normal ... I guess ^^'

There's no way to add them on purpose at the moment but I'll attach one that was generated with them to this post.

Hi so i probably won't be posting any simulations any time soon because my laptop's charger just got burned, and so i couldn't get it to charge my laptop, which is now completely dead.

I would still post in this forum (I am currently using my phone), but until I bought a new charger, I won't be posting anything Universe Sandbox related

You need to buy a new laptop charger. You can find replacement chargers on eBay or Amazon.

Without seeing the end, it’s impossible to be sure, but the cord that's damaged sure looks like the standard IEC 3-pin cord that's been used on desktop PC's, monitors, some TV's, and a host of other devices for like 30 years. You should be able to find and extra one around somewhere.

What you need to do is type the model of your laptop on eBay or Amazon, and specify that it is a laptop charger that you are trying to find. I am sure that you will find another charger like this one.

Turns out I could just buy the new cord from my local electronic store for $1.10
And I had to convert the price

I have Universe Sandbox 2 for a few weeks now. I still don't really know how this works. I'm sharing my first solar system I build. It's called Bella. There is 1 habitable planet.

I checked the system, and it got me thinking:
HOW DID YOU GOT A STAR TO ORBIT 7 OTHER STARS ALMOST 2 LIGHT-YEARS AWAY?!

Use the Random Rocky Planet button to make unique rocky planets, your system is plain...

Two light years? It's only half a light year away
Also, I have no idea if it's going to orbit the 7 stars or not, it's a shot in the dark, basically
