Binary Planet Help

When i make a binary orbit of two planets they stop going around the sun. Help would be very appreciated

Select the planets and the sun, and then do Make Binary Orbit. Finally you have to decrease the smaller planets' eccentricity from 1 to whatever you want it to be.

Thank you - I saved the Video on my Favourites

I will need to do a five x Star System some time.
Triiickeeey - the "Dragon System" in my S.F. Game.
Orange, then a bit smaller Yellow-White as pair, close around barycentre - smaller Yellow fairy close around them.
Then two Tiny White Dwarfs ( 5 x Jupiter Mass ), but at 90 degrees and 120 degrees to the plane of the others.
still fairly close in.
I figured that the White Dwarfs will draw streamers off the other two, which will go "Bang" each time they pass each other on their elliptical orbits, which are at different radii.
7 Planets - three habitable - Arrakine, Ordowiccia, Carbonia.
1 x Asteroid Belt.
I write the System Specs for the Game first - after research, and some input from our "Science Bod", then Post the Data as a Scout Report.
I am a sort of inventive guy - I guess.
