Dwarf Planets Way Off Course?
« on: January 30, 2018, 03:46:02 PM »
I don't wanna bug the Universe Sandbox 2 Devs to the point of insanity so I won't be posting many issues that need fixing as much. However I would like to say this. Why are the two objects "2012 VP113" and "2013 FY27" located in the asteroid belt? I realize it's probably a bug or something like that but I thought I'd let the devs know. Piling up on this is also the sun. The sun in numerous amounts of simulations such as apophis encounter with Earth have the Sun's mass decreased and temperature and a few other factors.

In which sim do you see those two objects in the asteroid belt? In "Solar System - Now & Real time" and the default "Solar System" I see FY27 in its correct location (orbiting beyond Neptune), and I don't see VP113 in these sims. We are in the process of updating our database information to correct some errors, so it would be great to hear if there's somewhere that these objects are incorrect!

As for the sun, we actually just noticed that yesterday and have fixed it. This fix should be in the next update.
