I've logged off for today.
New world map. Check The Battleground! I've decided to change the gameplay for The Battleground a bit, so it won't just be a boring zone where you go in, remove enemy players flags and place your own whenever you want, and everyone just do that.
Instead:
You plant flags in strategic positions (like small snow bases, or bigger bases, whatever you want). Those bases give you control of an surrounding area, the size depending on how developed the base is and its position in the terrain. WHEN a player has made that base, it will own the base. Another player can declare war on the "municipality" (red area) surrounding a single base, and within 3 days, they will have to fight for it, if the owner doesn't surrender it (refuses to fight for it).
All bases owned by a player (or team) is combined into an orange area, which is a controlled zone. You can only declare war on base municipalities adjacent to the ones you own.
Every player or team have their own unique flag composed of a 2x2 wool "image".
So far, I've chosen a completely red flag for me (or my team, if anyone wants to join it): Blaists.
I haven't yet decided how someone who doesn't have any base can jump into The Battleground and attack a base. I was thinking of them attacking from the edge of the region, but I'd find it wierd to be backstabbed from Plaxium Front, which I'm the onyl player who has actually developed. Maybe there should be an area in the middle which players can attack from? Maybe an area on the edge?
But don't you agree that this is the way the gameplay should be?
