I think something should be changed to help with spam. I try to report it, but this time I was unable to because of an error stating I was reporting too much. I suspect there should be more protections in place to prevent spam and less protections in place to prevent reporting spam.

I'll ask around and see if we can change anything to deal with this spam a bit better. Sorry you weren't able to report it! The good news is that we usually get reports from a couple of users, so we'll be notified eventually even if you aren't able to do it.

So some forums I've been a part of require 5-10 posts before you are allowed to make new threads. Maybe something like that?

Also, I can't remember if this site requires email confirmation before activating the account, but that's another solution.
