He made them with a texture builder. Why is there a poster for a missing skeleton in the background?

Much funnier than it would be if there was written "Sale of computers" or "Computers are not here, go away!"

custom models would work, but do we really need custom textures? We have the random planet feature AND all the editors.

Yes because with custom textures we can for example change the texture to a lower resolution for lower computers and for fasters computers you can change the texture to a higher one !

Not sure if this has to do with anything, but when you start the alpha you can pick the resolution.

That's the program window itself, I don't think it affects textures

Well, I think it wouldn't work because US2 uses 3D models now, not flat texture wrapping.
But, what if here could be a feature that lets you "take a picture" of the texture on a planet?

I think, to make the texture will need heightmap

I did not know they use 3D model instead of a height map, are you sure they use a 3D model ?

The height maps are made in 3 dimensions, height, length, and depth.

I was thinking about custom materials, for example, methane, oxygen, salt (would keep water liquid at lower temperatures), ect...
What do you think about this ?  :)
