I've used it to get xp and the grinder kills almost all the skeletons it seems.

Btw, Smj, I can confirm that the terrain generation isn't like the old one, based on going to the edge between old and new terrain generation. Fiah also showed that in his screenshot.

the strongholds might not have generated at all. imo they probably haven't.

Why shouldn't they? Is there a bug making them not generate or something? I think we just haven't found any yet, especially because the ender eyes mislead us to old chunks with different seeds where they aren't located for obvious reasons.

well unless bukkit changes how this works, strongholds are created 3 per world between between 640 and 1152 blocks and i think all of those chunks were already created at the time 1.8 came out? even if more strongholds were created, the enderpearls don't lead to the strongholds -- they lead to where the seed says they should be (but you won't find them there).

also minecraft wiki is ********************************************** very laggy.

If there's no other option, possibly, but I'd have to ensure that no strongholds generate.

Maybe, find the location of a stronghold according to the seed, delete the chunk and possibly a few around it, if it's in a barren place. Idk.

yes i used that program once...it works. i've used it on nuecraft because the strongholds had the same bug, and it worked beautifully. it's burried under my mountains of programs and i don't remember what it's called anymore :P

I think the seed changed from 1.2 to 1.3, but I'm not sure. It may have changed with some of the updates, at least I haven't checked. I could run through some of my backups and see if the seeds are the same or have changed. The seed just seems different from what I remember it to be, I just remember it vaguely being different a long time ago.

Anyway, Spawntown Public Powertool Library has been built. Here you can borrow enchanted diamond tools for some amount of time based on a request system explained in a book inside the building. It's at Shaft Square outside the public storage if anyone is interested.

Nice! Good job, kol, I really didn't expect that. I'd like to know the coords. Maybe we can arrange a common trip to The End some time within the next few days where we can defeat the Ender Dragon together.

I hope people will leave the stronghold untouched.

Then explain why I'm seeing mushroom islands in the same place as before, as well as that southern continent, which is more or less the same (I think the coastline is different, but same biomes).

not saying coords but you could prob find it in 5 mins from spawn if you take the right rails.
