I was turning west around an island behind me to go further and for another sweep north when BAM, it appeared right in front of me. Coords are in screenshot.

The coords for the bay that the island has are 3833, 4830, so its closer to 5km from spawn. It may be far, but its not one that's being hogged by quontex. Heres some views from various high spots on the island.

I don't have any plans to build anything on it right now. Although I'll informally claim (for all of Blacraft that is) it just to keep Quontex from trying to claim it as well.

Sure, the island is huge, at least 160m+ (limit of far view) wide, plenty of room for a small patch that size.

Discoveries continue. Found two more small ones with associated islets, these two are actually right within sight of each other, the last pic is wide view. I was like 'Mushroom Island chain??' when I saw these two.

Looks like there are enough mushroom islands to go around for everybody. Heres another island just north of the last two. I'm not sure if it's because the mushroom biome is so big or it simply generated as an island chain.

The second image is the same island as the first image, just some impressive cliffs. This particular island is at least as big as the first one I found, just more hilly.

It's just the map that he crops, not the actual server chunks. Also, that's a lighting error you see, not an actual cave. However, I found a few caves (very small ones) on the first island I found while exploring, so there could very well be some given it's larger size. There should be some underground though.

so i was thinking of building a 42195 meter long path and dub it as a marathon. Besides the slight issue of 80,000 cobblestone (we do have a lot of excess cobble in the public storage), is anyone interested?

The place could be utilized for other things though as there are plenty of fungus islands to go around for everybody. And yes that's Darv being silly on the last one
