evercart isn't updating but there's another plugin the leaves chunks loaded...might cause lag though, sadly, because it loads a bunch of chunks, not just the one the minecart is in.

Well, theres this one over on the BukkitDev section. It sounded like Bla was able to get around the client thing and get the updated SafeCreeper plugin, so maybe he can grab that one?

I did have a few problems with logging in today in that it would take too long to log in the first time, but the second time was okay.

Well I just logged on, so it's up again now whatever happened.

I have installed Rolling Minecarts. It will affect storage carts and it will load chunks. I disabled it affecting empty minecarts, because it'd make it hard to catch minecarts on the rails if we crash while carting or if we place them and accidentally push them without intoing them.

Here's this week's economy. People are overusing our diamonds.
The coal drop is mostly because of all the clay which was smelted, but it's not that bad because I turned 3 stacks of wood into charcoal and also did an epicave run.
Iron and gold is because of rails, I think.

Did you make the storage carts run at the same speed as an occupied cart to cut down on boosters needed? Just wondering.

On IRC? Lol, maybe I need to be on IRC more. Still though, I'd have wanted it as well.

Northeast of Zuntriio. The epicave I explored yesterday was also in the jungle northeast of Zuntriio.

If you make an above ground portal in kaeshar, and then travel the nether, there are two possibilities:

1. it is closer than however many blocks are you are at spawntown
2. a new portal is created.

If you make another portal after that, it would either:

1. connect to the nether portal at kaeshar if one was created
2. connect to spawntown like the other one
3. if farther than other portal from spawntown, will make a new portal in nether

if 3 is the case, then the other portal that originally connected to spawntown would connect to this new portal located in the nether because it is closer

I've established a new Nether Portal established in Jungle Cove (its just outside the outpost on the surface) and I have found one, maybe two nether fortresses in the nether near it. I'll post the other pics in a new post.

It'll look better once the vines have completely grown.

Just to note, I'm using far view and have fog off. When I got to the nether, I soon noticed two objects of interest. The first one is the first two images (normal and zoom), this is to the southeast (the focus number in F3 works as normal) and while I initially thought this was a nether fortress, but I'm not so sure.

The second one, which is to the west, is definetly a nether fortress, right at the edge of far view.

Anyways, when I went in, there were pretty much just a few tribes of zombie pigmen, but I didn't stay very long (or explore very far) since I ducked out when I saw a ghast spawn.

sugarcane farm at 2020 blocks large. because of the cobble rails, it has near perfect efficiency and rarely is a sugarcane piece dropped and missed. Output is 11 sugarcane/second although you do have to wait around 30 minutes between harvest, i usually spend that time wheat farming.

currently my book stockpile has reached over 5800 books :P

That would be over 90 stacks of bookcases, or almost two large chests full. Thats right around the amount that I made for the Great Library, maybe somewhat less.

Yep, and I used more than 30 stacks of bookcases.

When I was done with the sugarcane harvesting, I had something like 3 large chests full of books, maybe 4. Anyways, I ended up with almost a small chest of surplus.

You're going to need LOTS of wood to convert all of that into bookcases, I can tell you that for sure.

They're okay for compact storage, though it would be nice if we got some wood back on deconstruction. I actually constructed the great library in a way so that it can easily be adapted for placement of chests. Not sure if maybe I'll start stockpiling up on books as well or I you'll become the main supplier.

As far as leather goes in the future, Im planning on making a ranch sometime and I'm also trying to think up of a way to somehow farm those squid.
