Smjjames, Idk what you mean about the grey rectangle.

The "earthquake" is just a way of explaining away the fact that the seed was corrupted, so terrain generation of new chunks became different, so the landscape didn't fit together at the border between the old and new landscape.

Sorry for double post. Has anybody tried the minecraft skin editor over on the skindex? It doesn't quite have full functionality on iPad because of the doubleclick, but anyways, I was looking around for adventurer type skins and it'll probably be more satisfying to create my own.

Just a thought, you know the chunky bit of land and bit of desert that makes up Soleas southwest border? Well, I read that bla prefers to have the borders fit the landscapes and features naturally and I thought that if I decide to use the southwest area, we could fix up that bit of land and have Soleas border move along the beach more naturally. I hear mudkipz likes to blow things up, so he could take some TNT to the small penninsula.

It's something that can easily be negotiated later and it's only a minor adjustment.

Yea I know I haven't even joined yet and I'm already talking about moving borders around, trust me, I won't be doing that to other people (unless it's a conflict of interest or something). It's only that spot that I've thought about as far as borders go.

FUUU, fell and died, lost all of the armor and the tools, miscellaneous pieces of food and small amounts of junk. The blocks that I had were stuff that I had collected on the way though.

Was trying to find my way off of a mountain....

Edit: And did I lose all the xp I had???? four levels worth.

The items and some of the xp should be there for about 10 minutes after you get back into the area. Do you remember where it was that you died?

4 levels of xp is worth nothing compared to diamond tools and armor, though, but getting the armor and tools back would be very useful.

How do you deal critical damage to a mob? I think one way is hitting it from the top, but is there another way?

No, I'm sorry, I don't remember. It was somewhere in the mountains and I didn't know how long it would stay there. Sorry for the newb mistake ><  Also accidentially broke one of the glass windows, but I made some new glass and now I just need to find it. No idea why I did that, out of curiosity maybe ><

Anyways, I'm trying to fix that.

@mudkipz: How does that help?

Edit: I got knocked out of the server due to no memory and now I'm having problems connecting to minecraft.net....

Edit2: Hrm, can't find the spot atm, it was near one of the entrances...

well you can stay In oceans indefinitely, climb the steepest slopes, descend sheer cliffs, and escape from the most hostile terrains with a water bucket. by pressing space, you float in the stream of water and hiver

Including a portable bed.

Ask Bla for a region, I accidentally started in the glowstone trees(I captured a chicken there), and Bla got really mad.

I get the descend sheer cliffs, but not so much the climb steepest slopes if I'm at the bottom of one.

As for where I'll settle, not sure yet.

Anyways, I grabbed some used armor out of the dump pile, still need to find a pick, maybe I'll use the used diamond one. And a sword.

Also, two of the chests in the public storage are visually stuck in the open postion. I was trying to open them when I lagged, however they work fine, I can use them as normal.

I'm making a new map now. Hopefully we can find out where you died from it, if it was at a tall and steep cliff somewhere in the ocean you just explored, it shouldn't be too hard.

So try to stay out of the area where you might have died until I make the map.

Smjjames, do you have any idea of where it was on this map?
I would suspect that it is in the area I marked with the number 1. It could be 2 or 3, though. 3 would only be if there was sand, but the cliffs there don't seem very high, and 2 seems close to ungenerated terrain, which makes it unlikely.

I can go and look for your items if you want it.

Its somewhere in area one since I was going back that direction to explore, but two is possible. I didn't die in the desert, I died in the mountains.

Anyways, sure you can look for the items, not even sure if they're there anymore though.

Also, I'm not clear on how you stay in the ocean indefinetly with a water bucket.

Edit: Checked the forum and looks like alot of people are having the same problems too.

Cool expl- um, trick :)

Also, my minecart ran smack into an enderman right as it was spawning in the railway. It didn't attack me even though I was looking right at it when it spawned, so I just waited for it to move off the rails and went on my way.

I thought endermen only spawned in dimly lit areas....

That's obviously an exploit. I can't stop you from doing it, but you shouldn't do it if you want to play legitly.

To climb up overhangs and cliffs
Jump as high and place water
Swim up miniwaterfall
Pick up water and quickly
Place it a few blocks higher
Repeat
