"Bukkit 1.8.1 Recommended Build
Sep 22 2011 09:50:28 by Species20
Bukkit have today released a recommended build for Minecraft 1.8.1. Our team are looking into getting this ready for our servers and updates on its availability will be posted here as they are available.

Thank you for your patience."

I haven't fixed Partinia Lanis yet, but since nobody is complaining, I'm assuming that's all I have to fix. I'll probably do it later today and upload it, and if Bukkit 1.8.1 is available within 7 hours, Blacraft will be back on the server with 1.8.1.

Edit: I've edited the map now, decreased ocean level by 1 block, removed all ice on sea surface level and fixed the area around Partinia Lanis.
Currently uploading it to ze server while I'm eating.
Also, the server has been updated. I'll change to Blacraft after eating, probably.

Blacraft is now back up.

I keep putting you on the whitelist (I have no idea why everyone were removed from it), but it keeps reverting, apparently. I've seen this bug before, it's incredibly annoying. Idk what to do about it.
This whitelist-problem isn't related to the whitelist problem which happened when we switched to the other map.

It's a server, and it's not the wrong whitelist.

epic landscape
atomic7732 asked if it was more epic than solea
never been there
so see for yourself

1st picture, random perfect gateway, not that impressive
2nd one, that was just meant to be a fortress!
3rd, speechless, its a island, an isolated mountain
4th, a river, 0.5km long which is enclosed on all sides by mountains soaring up to level 120+

1. this is impressive, build a base there with the natural pillars inside and huge glass walls, love it
2. a more detailed view of a previous picture
3. hanging formation, next to the epicriver. nice spot for...?
4. ze kliffs of doom

1. just some generic landscape

anyway, this is only a fraction of mountains, this may sound cliche, but the pictures "don't really do it justice" it looks more impressive in minecraft.

hoping you don't like it because i want to claim it :P
plus the fact that its 7km+ east of spawntown :)
if i'm given the land, i'll probably add a network of portals connecting some, if not all the landmarks to each other which links to my central nether station.

anyway i'm going to build a base in the first place with the hanging bridge over the piller and the valley, its only 5km from my house.

and bla is going to kill me. I probably just doubled the map in size ^^

ravine 1: x-40, z-2383
ravine 2: x-31, z-3006
epicmountain (claimed by me) x-439, z-6115
epic mountain biome area x-500, y-7500 (approximated, its a huge place)

:)

Mudkipz, I think it's ok that people venture far into the landscape. I just don't like how the maps turn out, and I prefer if people would expore evenly around Spawntown. Maybe you could explore some areas more like 1 to 2 km from Spawntown? And if you find a good one, I could delete the long path which must exist. It'll be generated again when we've explored enough to get that far out anyway. I think there are equally good areas closer to Spawntown.

Darvince - I think it's more stupid if the ocean levels between pre-1.8 and post-1.8 chunks differed by 1.
I know there isn't any ice in the ice rink. I'm considering whether it should be added back unlegitly, because it wasn't our fault that the world generation changed completely.

I'm planning to do something about the lower layer which is no longer sea around Spawntown.

Yes, it was your fault. Don't add it back, because Spawntown's average temperature in the summer is once again 55°C. (131°F)
