Honestly though, I kind of like the simplicity of vanilla minecraft, I don't have to do many layers of crafting to make stuff for most things.

We should see about including that enderchest mod though.

FTB is fun, sure, but is probably a bit much stuff for a temp map.

I would love to be able to import all the buildings and resources, etc, that I did in Blacraft vanilla though.

*Is suspicious*

For one, you'd have to be whitelisted to even be able to join the server.

Edit: It is saying that two updated mods aren't found, which has nothing to do with world corruption, just update problems.

Some information about the modpack update:

The update is significant enough that ClanForge has advised servers to reset the map.
ClanForge failed to uninstall the mods that got removed from the pack, which is why we couldn't log in. This includes chunk loaders (ChickenChunks) and the extra biomes.

So the question is, do we reset the map, try to salvage the old one or go back to vanilla until a solution is resolved?

Lets go back to vanilla, while gregtech is awesome, I'm not a fan of the mod itself. Unless we can play without gregtech.

I vote for using the vanilla server map. I've already dumped so many hours into it, I don't want to see it go to waste.
It would be great if we could import the vanilla map for use on FTB.

We're talking about the temp map, the origional blacraft server is safe. It's only servers that were using maps with the FTB mods.

It would be great if we could either import the map or copy the buildings over, but the problem is that there are so many new ores that would have to be generated and copying the structures (including any underground portions) over would require a good deal of time in MCedit.

also that would be not allowed because you could use the tools from gregtech to explore the world and figure out caves that would be hardly accesible with vanilla minecraft etc.

No.

Pending no complaints from Bla, the vanilla map will return tomorrow. Will only take all day for me to upload the map. :P

Well, it's up now.

Also, when I looked at the maps in capital, they had gone blank, however when I looked at mine, they were fine, so I think maybe the maker/owner of the maps has to load them somehow.

I tried breaking and replacing one and breaking, relogging with it in inventory, then placing it back, neither worked.

It may just be that the owner or maker of the maps has to load them or something, but yeah he spent forever on those. The ones I had were fine however.

Anyways, I looked around to see if there were any rolling minecart replacements and the only one other than the forge plugin that got a hit from searching chunk and cart was this: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/traincarts/ Not the same as FTB's traincarts though.

Some other possibilities are:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/msp/

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/minecartmania-reborn/

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bytecart/ (I kind of like this one)

Also this: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/addquartz/  While it's not a cart related plugin, it would be nice to get quartz into the areas we have already built in (and would have saved us the headache of cropping the nether).

Yes, what is your account name?

(Also, it's not my server, it's the server of the people, they just decided that it should keep my name and I like having a few priviliges and---)
