Ikl. I've now removed all snow and ice south of the northern edge of this selection on Blacraft!
Tomorrow I'll remove the rest. Possibly paint biomes. Possibly fix chunkyborders.

This has taken approx 6-8 hours so far. >_<

Uh, don't you want to wait until the server is actually updated? Unless you did that already and are just cleanining up the biome randomization.

While you're at it, could you check and make sure that the rainforest in Amazonis didn't get randomized to desert? I really don't want it looking dead or dying.

Biomes are saved in region files, so biomes don't change anymore if the versions update.

I plan to go through the entire map and fix the biomes.

Why would I wait doing this until the server is updated? Then you'll just have to wait. If I do it now, I can put it on as soon as the server is updated.

The ban should be removed now.

would bla please restart the server? the npc's arn't breeding like they should when they get killed of which is why villiages are slowly dying out.

Might want to do a preliminary restart when we get the Bukkit RB, just to make sure the NPCS are able to breed.

Newly generated villages should be okay, I think.

Anyways, since Naru had reported that zombies could break doors on normal (and there was a mention about it on the wiki), I did some testing and found that even with a horde (and I mean HORDE) of zombies attacking the door, they can't break it on normal. Meanwhile, I checked how it is on hard and it breaks the door there.

I believe they added the door breaking graphic in 1.3 when zombies are banging on it, so it simply looks like they're about to break through. I didn't see them successfully breaking down a door in a village yesterday, so I'm pretty sure that they actually can't on normal mode and it's just the new door breaking graphic.

I have made Plaidania plains, but I guess it wouldn't be a problem.

I'll make it non-snow, but why exactly extreme hills? Vinelandar can be extreme hills, but wouldn't plains fit Plaidania better?

How come you removed the snow from novascotchara and the conifer forest to the south of Kaeshar, or does the snow just need to regenerate (as in those chunks need to be snowed on)? Not that I'm complaining or anything.

@kipz: I don't think a RB for bukkit will be released tomorrow, but yeah im hoping ASAP.

Also, I thought you were going to crop that area with the ghost town village and desert? Then again, we can just demolish the village in a variety of ways if you don't crop that area.

I decided not to crop it because 1.3 would generate new terrain which wouldn't fit into the jungle to the east of it, so it would be pointless.

I removed all snow because going around and deciding what snow should and what snow shouldn't be removed would take too long. Same with ice. It will snow in the snowy biomes I draw.

I don't see why you would destroy the village.
