Kol, it's not that hard in the new terrain. This one was a bit east of Matolony. Looked near the extreme hills and plains biomes. There are more caves below extreme hills afaik.

I was thinking about what Fiah said about a rail line linking Kaeshar and Revolutea and that Bla wanted an estimate to put a poll up (if one isn't already up) and decided to check out a potential route.

The section between the station and the mines I'll have to decide how I want to do it due to tunnels and stuff. However, I was thinking maybe the part that gets voted on would be from about -690 and 13 something (use 1330 for now) to -690 and 1245. I was walking the bridge route and I realized that there is a good spot centered at 1245 and we can make windows into the side that looks out into the ocean. The thing though is that we need to decide how much of it is going to be underwater because 5 blocks to the south and its completely underwater. Beyond Partina Lanis, I'm not sure where Fiah would like to do it or how much of it would be underwater.

I have some experience with making underwater tunnels using a caisson-like method, but I'm going to need LOTS of sand to do it using my method if we do an underwater tunnel. Unless someone has a different method they can use.

let's move it south and make the entire thing underwater. Think of the tourism we could garner with the name "Longest Under-ocean tunnel"! Think of the money! It would be a huge profit.
I should choose this option to the problem.

Sounds like an NS issue.

Remember the rails should be centered on coordinates which are a multiple of 20. But yes, I like the idea of having it completely underwater. The bottom is filled with sand so it'd probably just be a mess to have it so that one side would look into the ocean? Unless it's very steep there.

Okay, how far south do you want it? about 1340?

Oh, I thought the rules said that the rails should be centered on a multiple of 5.

Anyways, its the chunky border part of Solea there that I was thinking about having one side look into the ocean.

I'm all for doing an underwater tunnel and while I have an established method, I wonder if there are other methods that people know.

Yay, naw im on blacraft!

Welcome to the server then :)

Hey, they already released the 1.3 pre release, we have to use it or we will wait until 1.3 "full" release?

That was just a snapshot type of thing, the full release (which is what we're using) won't be up for some hours yet.

However, should wait until Bla has updated Bukkit as well and done the cropping.

Anyways, 1.3 is out and now we're just waiting for the Bukkit version to get released and Bla to do map cropping and stuff.

How much Mossy cobblestone do we have? I really wanted to use mossy and/or cracked stone brick for the ground floor of the pyramid, but they're apparently only found in strongholds and Blacraft is bugged in the fact that eyes of ender only lead to pre-1.8 chunks, so we have been unable to find new strongholds.

And yes I used that one blaze rod in public storage to make two eyes of ender, which simply led me eastward from Amazonis and Kaeshar, which got me nowhere. Sorry.

Eyes of ender usually fall down, so you can usually use them multiple times, if you didn't. I think there are some ender eyes in the chest on the floor above the ground floor, behind the stairs, if they haven't all been used. But maybe we should wait with them until we organize one big run for strongholds or something, after 1.3 crop and stuff.

Idk how much mossy Spawntown has, but it's all in the building material chest on the ground floor. Probably not a lot. I don't think we have any cracked bricks at all.

I used the two ender pearls that I had to make them, I didn't take any out of public storage.

I know I can use them multiple times, but they shattered after like three uses for me.

Have you guys already found a stronghold? Not sure if the one in Spawntown is a player made one or not.

There's a nether fortress near the Spawntown portal and there is part of a fortress in the distance near the portal that I have in Amazonis. Not sure if it's the same one as the fortress at Spawntown portal.

You can try to get some blaze rods, sure.

The stronghold in Spawntown is player-made. The chunks around Spawntown are from March 2011 so strongholds weren't even generated back then.

Just thought I'd say which plugins have been reported to be working with 1.3 and probably don't need an update. I'm referencing a thread on the bukkit forums.

Essentials (though they did say it needs to be updated for the new IDs), LogBlock (although I think its actually broken atm for Blacraft? I don't know), LWC, WorldEdit.

Ok, thanks.

I'll swap to a 1.3 vanilla anarchy world which people can mess with as they want until Bukkit 1.3 is ready and the world is cropped.

If people don't accept my proposal, say so and propose an alternative.

Not a problem with me. Maybe make it creative mode?

From the temporary anarchy server. These extreme hills are kind of messed up.
