Nope, they most likely thought you were joking with your pets suggestion, and it WONT happen at all, its too irrelevant and random.

I was not joking about the pet suggestion. I would really like to be able to simulate complex life for habitable planets.

My pet suggestion is not irrelevant nor random. Its a brilliant idea for simulating complex life on habitable rocky Earth-like planets.
