Make all bodies have luminosity property.
« on: December 04, 2016, 02:30:15 AM »
Luminosity depends only on area and surface termperature.

This means, that this property would be directly unchangeable by user when set to realistic mode, also you could set constant body temperature if you set luminosity to constant value

well this would bean object would get hotter while shrinking and colder while expanding.

Since surface temperature depends on external radiation, tital forces and hopefully internal generation in some later alpha, this would mean, that bodies could cooldown/heat up depeding on energy flux.

By thst I meant any hot object should heat up nearby objects.....

Indeed.
A molten planet should give off enough light to illuminate a moon near by. But for a molten planet to heathe up a moon in orbbit, the moon would need to be very close to the planet.
If the earth was molten, the moon wouldn't heat up, but the luminosity of the molten earth, would emit it's own light.
But the moon wouldn't be heared up.
But if the molten earth had rings like Saturns, the the asteroids in the inner ring would be heated up by the molten earth, and they would be small enough to not be effected by earth's Roche effects.
But the outer asteroids probably wouldn't be heated up, if at all.
You know what I mean?  :D

Well then it could be limited for object heavier than one Jupiter - star of mass 105 jupiters heats up very nearby objects and star of mass of 103 jupiters doesn't

Large "hot" jupiter's can heat up very near by bodies. Like small moons, or asteroids.
