Welcome New Players

With the recent publicity from a certain YouTuber, I could only assume that there'll be an increase (or at least small increase) of new players! So, I thought we could start a thread introducing new players to the basics of astronomy and tips in game (measurements, star types, planet types, where to place planets, e.t.c.)! I would love to start off but I'd like to wait for confirmation that this is an appropriate thread to make and isn't a copy!
