Distance Measurement?
« on: December 21, 2014, 05:07:21 PM »
What happened to the part of the UI that told you how far something was from a star?

I found it useful and probably others found it useful as well, so I have no clue why this feature was removed or changed.  ???

they probably removed it as of now so they could work on other features without having it mixing stuff up
it'll probably be added in later

I would like to see the distances between any two selected objects.  Also, it would be nice to see a distance label on the grid to give a better sense of scale.

It was removed after the bug happened when there is no sun. If there is no sun in the sandbox the distance from the sun will be very long its like .125 of the real universe. Most peoples fall for it trying to zoom out so they can see the sun but results crash.
