[RESOLVED] "Orbital parent" string UI issue
« on: September 10, 2014, 03:11:58 AM »
Hi,
When I add a second star and make the Sun a binary, a very annoying issue appears: as the planet orbits the 2 stars it changes the Orbital parent and that info is being updated on the property panel of the planet. The "Orbital Parent" string keeps appearing and disappearing which causes the other fields to move 1 line up and down and it looks like it is flickering.

edit: sorry for the large image. Just scroll to the right to see the issue.

We're dynamically showing/hiding the parent info.
Apparently this causes a pretty hazardous effect when this happens too frequently :)
I'll change this asap for the next build.

Thanks for reporting!

Sorry about that. Thanks for the reminder.  :)

It is now fixed in Alpha 11.1.
