When I start a new simulation and place an Earth into it. Just an Earth. No moon, no planets, no stars.
Why is there still light shining on the Earth like there was a sun? And how can I disable that? I want it to be realistic.

Yeah, the devs set realistic to default + the planets light up when there is no star, there should be an option to change that.

It is set to realistic:
Well then click on the lighting tab and play around with the options until you get what you want.
