Why did dan make the new logo?

I think the universe sandbox2 alpha8 logo is too ugly.I think Dan can change it back(the old logo).I think the universe sandbox2 ole logo was better than new logo.

my only problem is that the smaller moon-thing is a bit to small anx out of place compared to the space its in, im talking about the little pac-man like scaping that represents its shadow. but beyond that it's Great i like that shade of purple-blue

I have mixed opinions - though, however, I find the way you have started this thread quite offensive. Just because Mona Lisa doesn't seem to be smiling, you can't ditch Leonardo Da Vinci for that. The same for the logo. Don't you think you should appreciate this great opportunity to Alpha test a top notch astronomy software? Don't you think you should thank them for taking the time to read your essay about joining the Alpha?

Actually he is demanding it to be changed. Even if he isn't, why make a big fuss about it?

Constructive criticism? All he said is "I do not think it is beautiful". What do you not like about it? How would it be improved? Is it really worth immediately fussing about or can you get used to it?

I thought about these questions myself, and I answered them. This would be a more acceptable critique,

"I'm not sure I like the new logo. It's shade of blue seems a tad bit too dark, and the angle of the planetary system is too inclined. It would be better if they kept the original colour, and it would be nicer if the angle was somewhere around 35-50 degrees. I could get used to it, though/It really irks me, and I would like to rally some people who think the same to persuade the artist to change it."

Like I said before, your opinion isn't the only one. Almost the entire community like it, and just you demanding a change is pretty selfish and immature.

Not the whole community posted here, but I assume that everyone likes it, otherwise they might have said something. Still, me and huppy are the only known ones who dislike the logo (I'm kinda getting used to it btw), so it's like more then 4 known against 2 known, therefore asking for a change is pretty childish.

See, it's like if one person in a whole city complained to the mayor about car license plate design, would you expect there to be a change?

Anaolgy Legend(I didn't choose the stuff for no reason):
City=Bustling community which has other things to worry about than license plates.
License Plates=Extremely trivial matter concerning a logo not many people really pay attention to
Mayor=Dan, who is extremely busy with a huge project (city=US2) and has no time for license plates
Person=Very firstworld persons who can't see the full part of the glass. (Half empty half full glass)

By that, I mean you were lucky enough to become an Alpha tester and you start complaining about a thing that doesn't even come up once in the game? Seriously?
