The Shiberian Union is an economic and political union composed of all six countries on the Sinopian Peninsula. The SU covertly operates under a shadowy network of secret institutions and entities. Although there is no readily available public information, it is rumoured that there exists such organizations such as the Dogery Economic Parliament, the House of Shibe, and possibly even the Shiberian Military Group. Every few months, the elite shibespies of each member state are sent to negotiate, debate, and decide on the fate of the entire continent. The location of the meeting is never the same. One year, the Dogery met in an nuclear fallout shelter; the next, they nuked an island to clear it of hostile life before holding the Interplanetary Shibe Conference.
The SU was initially conceived 70 years ago amongst whispers of the second coming of the God-Shibe. In 579, the Inner Three signed the Doge Economic Pact, which later developed into the Dogery Economic Parliament. Ever since, Dogekind around the world has watched as the Shiberian Union ascended the ladder of power, ever approaching the moon. Recently, under a new treaty forged in the House of Shibe, all six member states are united under a common legal and judogecial system. With a combined population of over 238 million doges, the SU has a nominal gross domestic product of over 5483 trillion dogecoins, one of the largest amounts in Universalis. The SU also received dogekind's To The Moon award in 590, 610, and 620.
