I think it used to serve a decent purpose back in the days where survival was priority.

Hey, what causes the sun to shine? I dunno, the sun god.

And that was sufficient enough. Somehow along there there became like sacrifices and worship and afterlife for whatever reason.

For the same reason that the beliefs that witches existed and should be killed managed to spread so easily, etc. Spreading easily does not equate to truth. Spreading easily just equates to people getting convinced by it. People were not thinking critically or rationally or basing their beliefs on evidence.

What does that have to do with anything? Why would the person that created scientology not simply be shunned or killed? Why would the person that creates modern fraudulent advertisements or sells homeopathic "medicine" not simply be shunned or killed? While I would be for shunning people who are responsible for such activities that are clearly damaging to society, some people are stupid enough to believe them. There's no physical law saying that superstitious or fraudulent people will automatically get shunned for their ideas.

You don't have to include a religion in your nation's history, but I want to.
My suggestion was changing AD to BCE and to be more specific on the other part, removing the part about year 0 being "birth of Jesus". So to make it clear: I suggest for all references to Christianity being removed from the timeline.
Sorry if it wasn't clear from my wording, I don't intend to ristrict people from inventing religions for their nations. I personally don't think that Earthly religions would fit our fictional nations very well, but that's just my opinion.

There are an infinite number of sides to a lot of questions, and equally an infinite number of wrong sides to them. If you ask for a single integer that equals 2 + 2, there is one correct answer, 4, and an infinite number of wrong answers you could come up with. Similarly, there are discussions about the origin of the life species. You can accept the theory of evolution, you can say someone created the universe 6000 years ago, you can say someone else created the universe 5 days ago. I simply don't see any reason to include all the wrong sides in my discussions. :P

imo what nue said is probably accurate because 1000's of years ago there was very little access to information so people would've just invented things to fill their massive gaps in knowledge as people want to think they know everything

2. coin flip sounds a poor way to make laws.
3. explain 'complex mathematical formula
4. other house? what's that? what's revive? when did it die?
5. polling is very hard to get right
6. solar manifesto will become outdated overtime and irrelevant to laws unless there is an amendment system
7. explain what is the purpose of all the review and segments and how it is better than a direct vote

for the Universalis racing league game that I am creating. I have the player car working and driving around a scrolling background so far. Car "physics" are not too impressive, but it has a drive and reverse gear.

I'm trying to get the calendar/season in order and racers... I don't want more than 18 races, less is fine, racers I don't really care but I'd prefer something around 18.

If you want, you can draw/make your track design.
