Author Topic: Can I change the default settings (for example, math type and accuracy levels)?  (Read 3250 times)

I would prefer the default for any new sandbox to be highest accuracy everything, along with some customized trail lengths that I generally like. But as far as I can tell, there is no way to make those settings stick around. Any new sandbox forces me to dive back into the settings, going option by option, just to set the same old defaults that I always pick.

Obviously settings are contingent on the type of universe being made, its size and complexity. Still, it seems crazy not to have the option of a few persistent default settings. Everyone has their predictable likes and dislikes. So is there some menu that will allow me to change the default settings for empty sandboxes?

Yes! Despite the glaring omission, I still think Dan Dixon is a badass programmer for what he does here.

It's a hard thing, writing software that satisfies everyone.
