The Moroccan colonization in the West has failed, mainly because the two Iberian powers, Portugal and Aragon, has been concerned about the Islamic nation, and took action against them. This resulted into most of the Moroccan colonies ceded to the Mali Empire, which is still prospering to this day. Their massive colonization of the West and the powerful homeland in Africa has been generally accepted as a threat to European nations. Thus, the Portugese and Aragonese began to counteract this growing problem by establishing colonies as well, next to the Mali. Occitania and Navarre follow after.
The Romantic Union fell, and the power city has been transfered from Londinium to Paris, the French kingdom once again. The reason was because of the pestering Scots, who had been determined to control all of the Briton Isles. and they had to do it by forced. They still have the southern coast of the Great Briton Island, but England as now risen from its ashes once again. The French and Scots has also been aiming for the West, gaining islands in the seas of the dread.
A recent war between Germania and against the forces of Bohemia and Franconia was a great defeat for the Germanians. They had lost 10% of its territory, yet lost one fourth of its population. They are feeling humiliating by other countries ganging up on them, so they are beginning to be isolated. There has been talks of leaving the Holy German Union as well, even the North Italian states are considering unifying and defeat the German states.
The Poles has finally united their country, and defeated the Bohemians in the War of Polish Freedom by reconquering territories where the Poles had inhabited before. The Prussians has been given a land by the Poles, in exchange for being a vassal state, as previous revolts troubled the Poles greatly. The Lithuanians and Byelorussians has begun to cooperate closely, while the Ukrainian state is losing ground. Muscovy and Novgorod are challenging each other over the Russian states for a dominant position (much like Austria v. Prussia during 1815-1861).
The Rumanians are searching for an opportunity to unify the state under one, and Illyria has begun to get loose from its chains. The Byzantines has inherited the Palmyrenes and there has been talks of restoring the former Roman Empire, which has been called impossible, but they are still eager enough. The Persians and the Kazakhs are unfortunately in a loss as they began to fall in the Central Asian region. Meanwhile the Muslims in India has successfully secured control in the north, while the Hindu Indian union breaks apart, only a small part of the territory remains. The Portugese and the Aragonese has also taken an interest into the region as well, the first part of colonialism of Asia beginning...
Ming China has loss. The dynasty fell and another sprung up, named the Hoang Dynasty. The emperor hastily gave peace offers to the Manchus and the Southern Chinese coalition, which they gain territory of the Chinese. The citizens in the Hoang Dynasty are enraged, in which they destroyed multiple buildings in Nanjing and other major cities. The Great Riot of Hoang, which it has been named, is one of the greatest number of casualties in the history of China, numbering from ten million to fifteen million.
Southeast Asia has trouble brewing. The growth of Ayutthaya, Malacca, and Majapahit and the decline of Khmer, Aceh, and Brunei is unbalancing the growth of power, and there has been speculations of an alliance between the three warmongering powers.
In Africa, the Kongolese has grown and established various protection areas for other tribes. In exchange, they would pay taxes monthly. Portugal and Aragon are seeking forts on the African continent, especially some of the West African coast and all of the East African coast. Ethiopia nearly broke apart, and Somalians are growing more irritated about the disunited countries.
To the west, the Incans and Aztecs has heard of the news of foreigners coming to their homelands. They are preparing to fight against the foreigners for their freedom, might, and honor. Will they be successful by 1600? Only time will tell...
