March of the Eagles comes out sometime in Q1 2013, so I'm assuming that it's within the next few months. I must admit, I am excited for it!

East vs. West and EU4 come out Q3 2013.

RTS grand strategy war game set in 1805-1815 in the Napoleonic wars. All PDS games are the same but in different eras.

They should do a fantasy game with randomly generated worlds and cultures and stuff :)
It's called Dwarf Fortress A game like that would be awesome, but probably way too ambitious for a commercial company to want to pursue. DF has been in comtinued development for under a decade and still doesn't do most of the things the dev wants it to.
Unfortunately, a dame in 3D space that relies of randomisation and procedural stuff just won't have the 3D assets. and after a while, everything might start to look predictable.

The closest we can get are the DF visualisers, and in the future someone may code a full 3D real time version. there's already a visualiser that lets you exp[lore a fort in first person 3D. :0

The whole low countries is all messed up, I assume they did stuff like that because it represented their strength and in some cases influence over lands, than actual land holdings.

ok benelux's province density is now as great as japan's in vanilla eu3dw, and reworked france to be more historical rather than modern
benelux now has almost as many provinces as spain

The paradox developers are back from their breaks and have returned with more developer diaries for EU4!

EU4 - Vive la France!

" In Europa Universalis IV, Revolution & Napoleon can happen after 1750 if France is in poor financial shape or is suffering from high war exhaustion, and especially if demands for economic and social reforms have been turned down. "

"There are, of course, lots of other dynamic historical events, including the construction of Versailles, and the exploratory missions of Samuel de Champlain."

"One of the things we wanted to do with Europa Universalis IV was to have more meaningful choices, including more interaction with rebels that are not just defeating their armies in the field. We have mentioned the issue of rebel demands before, so today I'll introduce “harsh treatments”. In provinces with revolt risk, you now have the option to spend Military Power Points to reduce the chance of revolt for a time. This will cost 5 power per base tax point, and reduces the revolt risk by 5, including the minimum revolt risk. Think of “harsh treatment” as sending in military police or government goons to round up troublemakers before things get out of hand. It’s not a permanent solution, but if you have the Military power to spare."

This one is for you atomic:
"Morale now recovers much more slowly than in early Europa Universalis games, though there are ideas that can make it recover more quickly. Running army maintenance at low levels is, of course, a severe risk in that it can now take up to a year for a depleted army to raise its morale to the maximum level. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t look at maintenance costs as a place to keep your budget down – just don’t expect your men to be ready as soon as they reach the front."

I wanted to post my mod here too but it sucks and it's broken so yep! If anyone successfully mods the map (to add provinces on water) tell me your secret. My mods don't seem to recognize the ocean. That appears to create all the problems. There are no ports, the coast is pixelized, boats seem to patrol every ocean province in existence whether they discovered it or not, and also the terrain is pixelated too, it's not blended like it is normally.
